Female Pelvic Anatomy - Revised and Applied 2019

Female Pelvic Anatomy - Revised and Applied is organized by Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and will be held on Jun 27, 2019 at St George's Hospital, London, England, United Kingdom. In the same manner that we consider ourselves safe drivers, yet probably wouldn’t pass a driving test, tomorrow, most surgeons consider themselves competent at surgery but would they pass an anatomy test, tomorrow? The aim of this one day refresher course is for senior clinicians to become reacquainted with the detailed anatomy of the human body as it relates to the practice of obstetrics and gynaecology. This will take place through a mixture of revision lectures followed by practical sessions in the Dissecting Room where use will be made of cadavers, prosections and models. The day will begin with a ‘spot test’ requiring identification of anatomical structures marked with a pin. This test will be repeated at the conclusion of the course to confirm progress.
