World TB Day Symposium 2018

our symposium on Friday 23 March at the John Snow Lecture Theatre at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and the programme will run throughout the day, with lunch provided. For those who can’t make it in person, we will be streaming all of the talks live on the day – but please still register and choose the ‘online’ ticket. Our theme for World TB Day 2018 is the challenge of antimicrobial resistant TB, and will include a debate that tackles the question: ‘do we need host-directed therapy if we have a universal drug regimen?’ By including presentations that cover a diverse range of topics (including: laboratory sciences, epidemiology, health economics, policy research and modelling) from world leaders in their field, we aim to encourage discussion and debate around some of the most important themes in our fight against TB
