Lovely stay.

Doctor in house agency were extremely friendly, supportive, patient, answered all my queries in a timely manner and were able to provide me with receipts upon request in a timely manner. I never knew about DitH but after extensive research was able to find out DitH, it was really easy to navigate and contact. It would be helpful if they give us the opportunity to choose the accommodation and arrange a viewing for a couple of accommodations close to the hospital before deciding especially when it is a longer stay. Lewis and Catherine my bookers were very helpful and answered all my queries in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend DitH to friends and family and will use this service again. The annex is nice and spacious and has en suite. It came with all necessary amenities such as iron, fridge, freezer, TVs and washing machine and dryer which helped. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, was able to raise any issues with host and was resolved quickly. The host ensured that annex stayed heated during my stay and resolved any issues quickly. The accommodation is very close to Barnet Hospital which is extremely helpful. The only problem is that there are NO kitchen facilities, they do provide you with a hot plate but this is very difficult to cook with. The washbasin is located outside, therefore was quite difficult to constantly carry dishes outside to do washing in the cold weather.

Harvey and Hilary are wonderful hosts with a wonderful home! They were incredibly flexible to work with my arrival and departure times and were always available to help or give advice as needed. The annexe is spacious, warm and very homey - everything was comfortable and I have absolutely no complaints! Fresh linen and towels were provided and everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchenette was kindly stocked with some basic larder essentials which is good to keep you going before you find your way to the shops and although the portable hob takes some practice to use, I was able to use it just fine for my meals. It is only a 5 minute walk to Barnet hospital and around 15-20 minutes to the nearest big supermarket depending on how fast you walk! Harvey and Hilary’s kindness and attentiveness throughout my stay made me feel very welcome in a new place and I had a lovely experience staying with them - I couldn’t recommend it enough!!
