Introduction from your host

WELCOME TO MY HOME IN CENTRALLY LOCATED CAMDEN TOWN

Our house is close to the Camden Lock Market and a five minute walk from Regents Park.  Charles Dickens’ wife lived opposite and her father and sister lived in our house during the 1860's.

We live in a very quiet and attractive street, a huge contrast to the hubbub of Camden Town. The guest room is on the top floor; there is a double bed and desk. TV and Wi-Fi,  a hairdryer and tea making facilities are in the room.

Dear Sirs, I would like to say how pleased and happy we were to stay at Mrs. and Mr.Price home. If we come again to London we would love to stay with again, they are the most pleasant and agreeable couple. Their home is lovely and we have enjoyed our visit of London even more, thanks to them. Wishing you and your colleagues a very good New Year, Sincerely, Daniel

-Dr Daniel Harwood

I stayed with the Price's at Gloucester Crescent for 14 nights, I was attending a course at LSHTM. The couple were hospitable and welcoming in all ways. The location is convenient to access central London by walking, bus or tube. The level of hygiene was acceptable and the security of the house was very good. The house has immediate access to the nerve of Camden Town for convenient shopping, night dinners and weekend visits to world famous Camden Lock. The internet is fairly stable most of the times with unexpected outages at night, there is access to free TV channels in the bedroom. The hosts provided my breakfast on time for all the days and allowed me to keep my ready to eat food in the fridge, I was able to clean my clothes in the washing machine and iron whenever necessary. They have a very serene botanical garden in the backyard which can be therapeutic from busy London. They also have a cat that acts like a sentry and companion whenever the guests are home alone. I would highly recommend the Prices residence for any short or long stays in London for visiting academics, doctors and professionals who would like to experience the Victorian house warmth and a display of some collection of paintings. Many thanks to my wonderful, kind, and considerate host. I can recommend a stay at Gloucester Crescent wholeheartedly. Apart from her, the location is splendid, the room is spacious, and so is the bathroom. Continental breakfast with coffee of tea to the liking of the guest paired with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, several kinds of bread and the most wonderful homemade orange marmalade is the perfect start for the day in London on professional or touristic endeavors.

It was a wonderful stay. Philippa and Sam were marvelous hosts. The accommodation was clean and well provided with an attached bathroom. The location was very convenient, close to different restaurants and easily accessible by both bus and underground. I would love to stay in this place again.

A very beautiful, elegant house. A large well appointed bedroom (comfortable double bed) and bathroom (bath and shower, all toiletries supplied) on the top floor. Although there are 2 bedrooms Phillipa does not let them both out so you don't have to share the bathroom and you have the top floor entirely to yourself. Phillipa and Sam are lovely hosts, very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. They were happy to direct me on the best way to find my way to my meeting and even lent me a pocket A-Z. Breakfasts is provided and the coffee is very good indeed. Everything was top notch and I would most definitely book here again.

Our host, Philippa was very nice and cordial. Beautiful house and nice room too. Great place to stay.

-Dr Renol Koshy

I was welcomed warmly, Philippa was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfectly acceptable, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was more than I have had elsewhere with DitH. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay.

Wonderful, private, comfortable and well appointed bedroom and bath atop a lovely large terraced home. Convenient for The Crick Institute and for music, theater and museums. Generous breakfast with delicious home preserves. Philippa and Sam are gracious and welcoming hosts. It was delightful getting to know them during our time there. We would definitely book again.

I was extremely pleased with the stay at Mr and Mrs Price. They were excellent hosts, always willing to help me with information or anything I might need. The stay itself was pleasant, the location is really great, close to the underground station and Camden market. The room was spacious, and clean. Having a private bathroom is also a really nice feature. Would definitely recommend.
