Improving Patient Safety & Care 2020 Continuous Learning, Measurement & Improvement 13th of February 2020 – RSM, London Following the success of our inaugural conference in February 2019, Govconnect are delighted to announce that our 2nd annual Improving Patient Safety & Care Conference will take place on February 13th 2020 at the Royal Society of Medicine, London. In September 2018 – Health and social care secretary Matt Hancock announced a new national strategy for patient safety. NHS Improvement are currently developing proposals for the new national patient safety strategy to support the NHS to be the safest healthcare system in the world. The strategy is being developed alongside the NHS Long Term Plan and will be relevant to all parts of the NHS, be that physical or mental health care, in or out of hospital and primary care.
