Description: The Royal College of Radiologists is hosting its annual Management Skills for Oncologists workshop. The sessions will study the skills and approaches needed to undertake effective management as a consultant clinical oncologist. This three-day programme will cover topics including appraisal, revalidation and dealing with difficult colleagues, specialist commissioning of radiotherapy and chemotherapy services, and the QIPPs (Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention) drive by the NHS. As in previous years, didactic lectures will be interspersed with interactive activities led by experts in the field.
