Bookings are open. Overview This is a concise interactive course tailored to ophthalmic practitioners and advanced clinical practice healthcare specialist. Following on from our well received successful debut last year we have returned with an improved revamped course that will explore a wide range of clinical scenarios relevant to clinical practice. You will receive talks from world-leading vitreoretinal consultants and gain insights into vitreoretinal surgery Course Aims The course will ensure attendees become more confident in diagnosing and managing vitreoretinal emergencies. It will help Allied Health Professionals to streamline the patient pathway more effectively by recognising urgent conditions that need to be referred as well as non-urgent conditions that do not require a referral. The course will cover: Anatomy and physiology of relevant to vitreoretinal conditions Peripheral fundus: What’s normal and what needs to be referred? Management of Vitreo-retinal emergencies Medical-legal record keeping for acute ophthalmic care Course structure The course features a full day of lectures delivered by leading speakers including Ms Louisa Wickham, Consultant vitreo-retinal surgeon and Mr Paul Sullivan, Consultant vitreo-retinal surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. You will have the option to attend in-person at our training centre in Ebenezer Street, London N1 or online. The course programme will be published here as soon as it is confirmed.
