Excellent location. Kind, helpful host.

Light, nice and cosy attic room with functional bathroom. Worked well with light use of kitchen, including Washington machine. Caring host with lots to tell about her exciting life abroad in her younger years. Chiswick was a great area with a highstreet offering all you need. Chiswick house with park was perfect for som excercise. Short walking distance to metro.

Susi is an excellent host. She was unusually thoughtful and helpful, much more than most hosts. E.g., she offered to let me eat her food the first night, so I didn't have to go out again. She also volunteered her small roller bag when I went for a three-day trip to Liverpool. When I had trouble getting my adapters to work, she immediately offered an electrical strip that worked beautifully. I could name a dozen more examples. She is also an interesting person, having lived all over the world. We did have a few-day period when I "lost" her key, which turned into a serious issue, since the replacement for the lock was quite expensive. But she gave me time to find it, and it was in the house all along, as I thought had to be true. The replacement costs are the only serious problem in a 7-week stay. Even when it got very hot, and the attic room was stifling, the room has a cross breeze that helps enormously. The only potential problem for others is that the kitchen use has to be light. But since I don't cook at all, this was no problem for me.
