Customer Reviews

The team were really helpful on the phone and booking a room seemed easy using on line payments via the website. We have used their service on a number of occasions and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Excellent value and so much better than unwelcoming hotels. Our stay in both London and Edinburgh were extremely comfortable and the hosts incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was terrific in both places. The homes were immaculate and situated within easy access of the centres. Easy tube access in London, from one place in Turnham Green to Kensington. One of the London stays was with 4 other colleagues all put up in the same area with good tube access to the West End for the training course. In Edinburgh the buses are frequent and many bus stops around. In fact one very near to the house we stayed in. The owners gave us very useful information about directions too. Links of the places we stayed were sent to me on booking which we really appreciated, being able to see and learn what the places were like beforehand.

I will be sending you a thank you card, so will say more in that. However, I have to say that you were a fabulous hostess, always going above and beyond the call of duty to help James & I. Anne Marie was equally kind and helpful. You have such a warm and welcoming home. No wonder people keep coming back! Best wishes,

-Dr Catalina Vaduva

Excellent. Thank you

-Mr Jonathan Brooks

I had an excellent time at this place. My host went out of her way to arrange several extra support services for me beyond expectation. This is a great place to stay and it is near to the good shops and transport to all places is easily accessible.

-Dr Michael Le Geyt

Excellent, very welcoming host. The location was very handy for the conference I was attending. I can't praise enough the fantastic customer service!

Room and bathroom very comfortable. Host very welcoming and chatty. Information on local eateries very useful and informative. Would have liked kettle/tea bags/milk in room rather than having to use owner’s kitchen and disturb her. Unfortunately prior discussion about need for gluten free breakfast got lost in the email trail.

Exceptional hospitality. Warm greeting, lovely private room with a comfy bed and a large bathroom. I have had enjoyable conversations over ample breakfasts. I am a returning guest and hope to vist on any trips to London.

I had a wonderful stay at The House of Anne-Marie-Johnson. She was very kind and a very caring hostess.

-Mrs Dorothea Kuttenkeuler

A charming house in a lovely part of the city, quiet yet central and perfectly situated for anyone who wants to visit the area around Regents Park. And my host Anne Marie is very warm and welcoming.

-Mrs Kristin White

My stay through Doctor in the House with Mrs. Johnson was phenomenal, and I would absolutely recommend booking with her, if she has availability. Her home is easily accessible from a number of public transportation options, as well as beautifully furnished and maintained. Mrs. Johnson was incredibly kind and warm, and as a young woman travelling alone, I felt very at ease in her company and space. I am grateful to have made a new friend in the process of my trip to visit London.

-Dr Samantha Cooper

This is the second time I have stayed with Ann-Marie and it felt like coming home. I really enjoy the lovely residential area which is so central and close to all amenities including some lovely cafes, shops and restaurants. Ann-Marie made me feel very comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Am looking forward to coming back again.

-Ms Renata Stallinger

Ms Anne Marie was a lovely host. The accomodation was clean, cozy and well equipped. I highly recommend anyone to stay here on their next trip to London.

-Dr Ben Trinh

Ann Marie is a delightful host, very helpful and friendly. She is always informative about where to find things locally and accommodates early starts providing an excellent breakfast. Homer Street is central for all transport links and is an interesting neighbourhood to explore if time permits

I had a wonderful experience staying in Ann Marie's lovely house. Room was very comfortable and house was walking distance to St Mary's Hospital, which was great for my meeting!! What made it more special was Ann Marie's amazing hospitality and general kindness. I would be very happy to stay in Ann Marie's house again and totally recommend her place to any doctor wishing to stay in that area.
